James S. Farley is president and CEO of the Leichtag Foundation, a position he has held since 2007 when the Foundation became independent. Prior to that appointment, Jim had served as general counsel of the Foundation since 1995. He has served as board president of the Seacrest Village Retirement Communities and the San Diego Botanic Garden Foundation. He is a founding member and former board member of the Carlsbad Charitable Foundation, an affiliate of the San Diego Foundation, and a former member of the technical and professional advisory committee for the First 5 San Diego Commission. Jim serves on the board of the Jewish Funders Network.
