Shalom (Shuli) Dichter is a civil society activist and expert on Jewish-Arab relations in Israel. Since January 2011 he has been the executive director of Hand in Hand, the center for Jewish-Arab education in Israel that operates bilingual schools and establishes joint community activities for Arab and Jewish citizens in Jerusalem, Kfar Kara, the Galil, Haifa, and Jaffa. From 1998–2008 he was the co-executive director of Sikkuy, a Jewish-Arab advocacy organization, advancing equality via government-policy change, municipal cooperation and mobilizing public opinion. During 2009-2010 Shuli was a consultant to Prime Minister's office, and he frequently publishes op-ed articles and essays on Arab-Jewish relations in Israel and abroad.
