Chen Yiyi is the director of the Institute for Hebrew and Jewish Studies at Peking University. Yiyi is a leading Hebrew Bible scholar in China, and recently has pioneered the field of Middle Eastern Peace Studies at Shanghai Jiaotong University. The author of several books, he also edits the multilingual Journal of Sino-Western Communications. He has taught as a visiting professor in Graduate Theological Union and the University of California at Berkeley.
